Activity 4 – Educational Workshops in Slovakia involves organizing six workshops for employees of public authorities and companies dealing with waste management in Slovakia.

The workshop titles are:

1. Waste Management and Contamination Issues in the Slovak Republic
2. New Technologies and Trends in Waste Management and Administration
3. Waste Issues in Marginalized Communities
4. Implementation of EU Waste Legislation in the Slovak Republic
5. Environmental Issues Related to Waste
6. Presentation of Best Practices in Waste Management: Insights from Sicily

The first five workshops will be led by Slovak experts specializing in waste management and legislation, while the sixth workshop will be conducted by a Sicilian expert in English with translation into Slovak. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
