Activity 3 – Educational Workshops in Italy involves organizing six workshops for employees of public authorities and companies dealing with waste management in Sicily.

The workshop titles are:

1. Waste Management and Contamination Issues in Italy
2. New Technologies and Trends in Waste Management and Administration
3. Waste Issues in Marginalized Communities
4. Implementation of EU Waste Legislation in Italy
5. Environmental Issues Related to Waste
6. Presentation of Best Practices in Waste Management: Insights from Slovakia

The first five workshops will be led by Sicilian experts specializing in waste management and legislation, while the sixth workshop will be conducted by a Slovak expert in English, with interpretation into Italian. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
